In April 2006, we set out to create a shop that wouldn’t have been out of place on the smartest, most stylish streets of London or Paris or Stockholm or New York. We set out to create that shop in the small East Lancashire mill town where we live – Rawtenstall! And we, (and our loyal customers), believe we have succeeded.

We select products that are primarily contemporary and design led but without a prohibitive price tag. Products that excite us, that are eclectic and unusual, stylish and beautiful, lovely and amazing.

Our collections are sourced from new designers, emerging innovators and smaller manufacturers from all over the world. You’ll also hear some of the grooviest, coolest music around spilling from our speakers – from Antony and the Johnsons to Hank Williams, Andrew Bird to Yo La Tengo, Michael Nyman to FourTet, Bill Callahan to Fleet Foxes.
